About Azri...

At AZRI Music Institute, we believe that music is much more than learning to play an instrument—it is a powerful tool for developing discipline, creativity, teamwork, leadership, and purpose. Our mission is to equip students with a strong musical foundation while encouraging them to use their God-given talents to serve others and make a lasting impact in their churches, communities, and beyond.

When and where...

Classes are held every Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at AMP Rehearsal Studios in North Hollywood, California. Each class is intentionally divided into two parts, allowing students to build both the knowledge and practical experience needed to become well-rounded musicians.

During the first hour, students participate in a comprehensive music theory class where they learn music reading, rhythm, ear training, scales, chords, harmony, musical structure, and other essential concepts. We believe that a solid understanding of music theory provides the confidence and versatility needed to excel on any instrument and in any musical setting.

The second hour is dedicated to instrumental training and ensemble rehearsal. Students practice on their chosen instruments while learning how to play together as a unified band. This experience teaches them to listen to one another, follow arrangements, develop timing, communicate musically, and understand the importance of serving the song rather than simply showcasing individual ability. These rehearsals help students grow not only as musicians but also as teammates and leaders.

Special Clinics...

Throughout the semester, students will also have opportunities to participate in instrument clinics led by experienced musicians specializing in piano, drums, guitar, and bass. These clinics provide focused instruction that helps students deepen their technical skills and broaden their musical understanding.

As students continue to grow, our vision extends far beyond simply performing existing songs. We want to inspire creativity by teaching students how to write their own music, arrange songs, and collaborate with other musicians. Our goal is to cultivate artists who are confident in expressing their unique musical voice while honoring God through their creativity.

We also envision our students performing at special events, community gatherings, churches, and ministry opportunities where they can gain valuable real-world experience. These performances build confidence, stage presence, professionalism, and a heart for serving others through music.

In the near future...

Looking toward the future, AZRI Music Institute plans to introduce students to the recording process, giving them opportunities to experience songwriting, studio recording, music production, and the complete creative journey from an idea to a finished recording. We believe these experiences will prepare our students not only for ministry but also for careers and lifelong opportunities within the music industry.

At AZRI, we are not simply teaching music—we are developing musicians with character, leaders with integrity, and worshippers with purpose. Our desire is that every student discovers the unique sound God has placed within them and learns to use that gift with excellence, humility, and passion.
